Judith Fleurant is a self-taught abstract painter who lives and works in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Before dedicating herself fully to art, she spent many years in the corporate world and successfully owned and operated her own company. After selling the business she chose to pursue painting full-time, transforming a longstanding creative passion into a professional practice. Working from her studio in Mont-Tremblant, Fleurant creates colourful, expressive paintings inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her. Nature and the emotions it evokes are at the heart of Fleurant’s artistic practice. Drawing inspirations from the landscapes near her studios as well as from her travels, she translated impressions, memories and feelings into abstract compositions filled with soft forms and vibrant colour. Her painting process is methodical and meticulous, allowing each work to develop thoughtfully and intentionally. Over time, this approach has led her to establish a distinctive visual language that balances structure with emotion. Through her work, Fleurant invites viers to reflect on their own connection to nature and to experience the senser of calm, wonder and energy that inspire her creations.
