CLAUDETTE LEFRANÇOIS

Claudette Lefrançois's work invites us to travel through time and space. Oncanvas, her gestures unfold in large and rapid movements steeped in emotion and palpable tension to convey her dynamic plastic expression. Her brushstroke releases color generously and vividly, giving her paintings an emotional dimension. Lefrançois is one of those authentic painters who encompasses a view of the world, which stems from acknowledging the universal force that is governing it.  Her expressive brushstrokes capture the essence of nature's beauty.

Claudette Lefrançois lives and works in Montreal.
